Endorsing Paul Garrett for the Maysville District Supervisor and Harry W. Bryant for James River District Supervisor

As you know, I have previously announced that I will not seek re-election this year due to new opportunities that have been afforded to me. This means that someone new must run for election for the Maysville District seat in Central Buckingham, one that deserves the best representation for not only the district, but on the Board of Supervisors.

Paul Garrett, who is running as an Independent—not a Democrat nor a Republican—is running, and I fully endorse him. Paul, a former longtime public school teacher and an avid hunter and fisherman, lives on Troublesome Creek Road, and has lived in Buckingham his entire life. Being a former educator, he understands the needs of our schools and what it takes to prepare our youth for a successful livelihood as they build their lives here. Investing in public schools are of the utmost importance to Paul, and that is the paramount reason I ran for public office. I have known Paul for many years and he is the best candidate to serve you and your families in the Maysville District. Paul will represent you in the same manner I have with constant constituent engagement, knocking on your door, writing you, following up with you, calling your telephone, and being YOUR VOICE on the Buckingham County Board of Supervisors. Paul understands the importance of constituent relations, investing in public education, law enforcement, public infrastructure, economic development, working with VDOT for your roads, and, most importantly, working with his fellow County Supervisors to seek compromise and see good things happen for Buckingham County. Early voting begins soon, and please considering voting for Paul Garrett for Maysville District Supervisor. You will be hearing from him and myself soon!

I have also endorsed incumbent James River District Supervisor, District 5 Supervisor Harry W. Bryant Jr. You can find more on why I am supporting Supervisor Bryant here: https://milesformaysville.com/2023/09/22/special-edition-of-the-maysville-voice-endorsing-supervisor-harry-w-bryant-jr-as-experience-counts/
